Wired and Wireless Networking

• Run and label Ethernet cabling to needed devices
• Create or tie into an existing IPv4 addressing scheme for network equipment
• Setup wired routers or switches as needed
• Basic programming and troubleshooting with Cisco IOS
• Setup wireless access points, wireless routers, or wireless bridges as needed
• Add necessary network hardware to establish communications between devices
• Enable file sharing, application sharing, or other resource sharing if needed
• Basic network troubleshooting including repairing cabling, toning ports, checking connectivity between various layer 2 and layer 3 network equipment, and network configuration of PCs and Servers
• Apply basic securtiy principals during setup or maintenance
