Leigh was soon offered a position with a major Telecommunications company in the Birmingham area, Communication Network that had recently been selected as the group to provide new IT and Phone services for the Sheraton Civic Center Hotel and the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center. This project lasted for two years and her responsibilities included programming and maintenance of the equipment both on site and remotely, training on all systems and gathering the database for the project. Before moving back to Mobile to work for her family's business she was promoted to the position of service manager responsible for the installation and repair portion of the business.
